TESTIMONIALS
"I am still in shock by how unbelievable the food was at our wedding - and it was 3 weeks ago. Each dish was so delicious that just by talking about the food, my mouth starts to water.
From the very beginning, Jenny and Verity were absolutely fantastic to deal with. Working with a picky bunch of people who all had different dietary needs/wants, these two ladies somehow managed to pull together the most perfect meal for each and every one of us. Making their job even harder, was the fact that due to issues out with our control we were unsure of the date of our wedding up until 2 weeks before. Jenny and Verity never seemed phased by this and were both very understanding. They would put us at ease with every email or phone call.
From the moment they arrived at our house, I was blown away by how resourceful and creative they were. Using all that we had in our kitchen (which they had never been to before) they were somehow able to produce food as if it came out of a michelin star restaurant. As well as pulling together a 4 course meal in a strange kitchen, Jenny and Verity managed to make many small special touches - all of which were unexpected but made the day even more special.
I knew at the time how exquisite the whole experience with Eolach was, but I never realised how much of a positive impact it would have on our day. We will never forget that meal. It was simply stunning."

"What a great night. The food was incredibly impressive but this place is so much more. Such a warm welcome from Jenny and Verity and a beautiful space with a crackling fire, cosy sheepskins, candlelight and the most eclectic mix of music.
Brilliant. Thank you."

"A lovey set up run by lovely people who were nothing but warm hearted and welcoming from the moment we called. Saying the food was unbelievable would be an understatement. We ordered almost everything on the menu and will be back as soon as possible to try the rest (Still getting tingles from the lemon crumble ). Hats off to you both for everything you have achieved so far. I will be recommending Eòlach to anyone that listens."

"Last night was our first Eòlach Food experience and we LOVED it from the moment we were welcomed into the dining room.
We wondered beforehand if everyone might be local to Glenelg... but we arrived to find a couple who'd travelled from Edinburgh, for the evening, with their London friends and two diners from Belgium!
As we took our seats at the majestic 300 year old windblown oak table, the sun appeared over the hills on Skye and lit the dining room with a magical glow. We were then treated to the most glorious sunset, framed perfectly in the window, almost as if Jenny and Verity had arranged it just for us!
The conversation (& wine) flowed despite the group of ten around the table being relative strangers and Jenny held the space beautifully to enable that.
And so to the food... the night we decided to go was the 7 course taster menu and everything about it was incredible! Verity's food was seasonal, locally sourced, beautifully prepared and presented... and exquisite! Each course offered it's own delights. I'm afraid I was too immersed in the experience to tell you exactly what each course offered; but a few of my most memorable morsels were the scallops in scallop roe butter, the tea cured halibut and the sorrel sorbet!
A definite competitor to the fine dining establishments in the area! And with the novely of being a 'secret social club' and not knowing who you're dining with until you arrive... an exciting choice for dinner!
I'm not sure next time we try to book it'll be so easy to get a seat around the Eòlach table... once the word gets out I'm sure Verity and Jenny will be booked up way in advance. In fact I wouldn't be at all surprised if their second season brings just that!
Thank you both! I'll be spreading the word despite risking my future seat at the Eòlach table!"

"Extraordinary. From the moment you arrive till the time you leave, a faultless event. Jenny and Verity have created a unique dining experience. The idea of a communal dinning table arrangement gives the opportunity to share not only exquisite food and enjoy new company. The 8 course taster menu served at exactly the right timing and the food was wonderful, delicious and imaginative. This will not remain a hidden gem for long. Do not miss the opportunity to visit"

"Fine dining without the fuss. Best in the West. Exquisitely prepared with local produce, beautifully presented in calm, warm atmosphere. Has to be one of the best eating experiences in Scotland. It's their first six months but they've achieved the content and style of an established modernMichelin star restaurant. A wonderful addition to Glenelg."

"Culinary Gem. I very rarely write reviews and am somewhat reticent to pen this because it surely won't be undiscovered for long. Eolach Supper clubs have put Glenelg on the culinary map.
The 7 course taster menu was incredible - all local ingredients down to the tiny flowers on our salad. Verity has been working through the winter to reduce and create all manner of syrups etc from local flora - our particular favourite was the larch juice in our carrot and apple pallet cleanser, mid meal. We feasted on scallops, hake and lamb finished with a divine apricot soufflé. All cooked to perfection.
This was all superbly complemented by the serene front of house operation lead by Jenny. Seamless service and a happy, calm atmosphere.
Not wanting to go on too much - both the food and service were further enhanced by the great rustic decor."

"As if you needed another reason to stay in Glenelg! Now it has a lovely supper club with the most incredible food you could hope to eat. Hosted in a beautifully restored house with amazing design, a massive locally made oak table to share grub over, and incredible views over the bay, this beautifully run dining experience wouldn't be out of place in any big city - apart from being completely unpretentious and just generally great."
