Eòlach (pronounced "Yoh-lakh") began in the small Highland village of Glenelg, where the mist meets the mountains and the land speaks in whispers. Founded by Jenny and Verity, our name—meaning "familiar" or "connected to place" in Scottish Gaelic—embodies our philosophy of creating food deeply rooted in its environment and season. What started as a shared vision has grown into a culinary journey that spans from London's urban energy to Scotland's wild landscapes.
Our path has been shaped by diverse influences—from the refined techniques of Michelin-starred kitchens to the ancient crafts of foraging and fire cooking. Inspired by the Seasons, time and place. This philosophy guides everything we do, from sourcing ingredients to designing experiences that honor both tradition and innovation.
As we continue to grow, our roots remain firmly planted in our founding principles. We're constantly exploring new ingredients, techniques, and collaborations while staying true to our commitment to seasonality, craftsmanship, and connection. The door is always open to new possibilities, but our path remains guided by the landscapes, traditions, and relationships that define Eòlach.
